One of the core values at Wallace High School is to encourage, support, and recognise the commitment that our students make to school life. We also seek to nurture and develop excellence in leadership skills that are necessary for our young people in the future. This is best exemplified in our Senior Prefect Team. Each year, Year 13 students and teaching staff engage in a democratic process to select ten students who will be appointed Senior Prefects. Each year we choose a Head Boy and a Head Girl, with a total of eight other Deputies. Those selected will have contributed heavily to school life throughout their time at Wallace.

This team has several important roles to carry out throughout the academic year. They regularly meet with the Principal to speak on behalf of the student populace. They help to organise and lead other prefects in their duties, as well as supporting morning assemblies. They act as mentors and attend multiple school events during evenings and weekends.
Please read on to find out more about this excellent group of young people. We know they will do an amazing job this year!
