Creativity is a global language. Wherever you are, join us online to view the art work of our talented students. While we may not be able to come together face to face for our annual exhibition, the Art and Design department is pleased to share with you a digital gallery of the work from our GCSE, AS and A2 students finishing in 2021.
As we all know the last two school years have seen many changes. The practical element of the Art and Design courses posed new challenges to many of the students and choices of direction had to be made to suit new working constraints and environments.
This exhibition is a celebration of the hard work, artistic direction and sense of purpose the students demonstrated throughout their course.
The art work displays great diversification in terms of media, subject matter and techniques. Many students were highly experimental and innovative showing a great personal connection with their work. Please enjoy viewing textiles; painting; drawing; fashion; collage; printmaking and much more. It is a great opportunity to see creativity in one place with each and every one of the exam students represented.
As Maya Angelou said ‘You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have’. We very much look forward to seeing what our new and emerging artists and designers are going to do next.
